Cinta itu sama seperti orang yg sedang menunggu bis
Sebuah bis datang, dan kamu bilang,
"Wah..terlalu penuh, sumpek, bakalan nggak bisa duduk nyaman neh! Aku tunggu bis berikutnya aja deh."

Kemudian, bis berikutnya datang.
Kamu melihatnya dan berkata,
"Aduh bisnya kurang asik nih, nggak bagus lagi.. nggak mau ah.."
Bis selanjutnya datang, cool dan kamu berminat,
tapi seakan-akan dia tidak melihatmu dan lewat begitu saja.

Bis keempat berhenti di depan kamu.
Bis itu kosong, cukup bagus, tapi kamu bilang,
"Nggak ada AC nih, bisa kepanasan aku".
Maka kamu membiarkan bis keempat itu pergi.

Waktu terus berlalu,
kamu mulai sadar bahwa kamu bisa terlambat pergi ke kantor.

Ketika bis kelima datang,
kamu sudah tak sabar,
kamu langsung melompat masuk ke dalamnya.
Setelah beberapa lama, kamu akhirnya sadar kalau kamu salah menaiki bis.
Bis tersebut jurusannya bukan yang kamu tuju!
Dan kau baru sadar telah menyiakan waktumu sekian lama.

Moral dari cerita ini :
sering kali seseorang menunggu orang yang benar-benar 'ideal'
untuk menjadi pasangan hidupnya.
Padahal tidak ada orang yang 100% memenuhi keidealan kita.
Dan kamu pun sekali-kali tidak akan pernah bisa menjadi 100% sesuai
keinginan dia. Tidak ada salahnya memiliki 'persyaratan' untuk 'calon',
tapi tidak ada salahnya juga memberi kesempatan kepada yang berhenti di
depan kita.
Tentunya dengan jurusan yang sama seperti yang kita tuju.

Apabila ternyata memang tidak cocok, apa boleh buat.
tapi kamu masih bisa berteriak 'Kiri' ! dan keluar dengan sopan.
Maka memberi kesempatan pada yang berhenti di depanmu,
semuanya bergantung pada keputusanmu.
Daripada kita harus jalan kaki sendiri menuju kantormu,
dalam arti menjalani hidup ini tanpa kehadiran orang yang dikasihi.

Cerita ini juga berarti,
kalau kebetulan kamu menemukan bis yang kosong,
kamu sukai dan bisa kamu percayai,
dan tentunya sejurusan dengan tujuanmu,
kamu dapat berusaha sebisamu untuk menghentikan bis tersebut di
depanmu, agar dia dapat memberi kesempatan kepadamu untuk masuk ke dalamnya.
Karena menemukan yang seperti itu
adalah suatu berkah yang sangat berharga dan sangat berarti.
Bagimu sendiri, dan bagi dia.

Earthquakes

Earthquake is one of the most destroying natural disasters. Unluckily it often happens in several regions. Recently a horrible earthquake has shaken West Sumatra. It has brought great damages. Why did it occur? Do you know how an earthquake happens?

Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves. It make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. They don't just slide smoothly. The rocks are still pushing against each other, but not moving. After a while, the rocks break because of all the pressure that's built up. When the rocks break, the earthquake occurs.

During the earthquake and afterward, the plates or blocks of rock start moving, and they continue to move until they get stuck again. The spot underground where the rock breaks is called the focus of the earthquake. The place right above the focus is called the epicenter of the earthquake.

Candies and chocolate

Do you think that chocolate lovers need any reason to feast on chocolates? But isn’t great to know the advantages of candy and chocolate along with its wonderful taste which is irresistible. In fact after knowing the advantages of chocolates and candies you will once again fall in love with this brown wonder.

Chocolate candies contain vitamins like A, B1, C, D and E, as well as potassium, sodium, iron and fluorine which is very helpful for the growth of your body. On a survey made by Haward researchers where they traced 8000 males with an average age of 65 proved that men who enjoyed chocolates and candy lived almost a year longer than people who don’t. This is because of the antioxidants present in chocolate which helps to prolong your life span. 

While chocolates and candies are usually eaten for pleasure but it also has some potential health advantages as it affects the circulatory system. Other possible effects under basic research comprises of anti cancer, brain stimulator, cough preventer and antidiarrhoeal activities too.

Another interesting advantage of candy and chocolates are that by eating them you can increase your blood supply to your brain which will bring more nutrients and oxygen which will be utilized in maximizing your memory. Studies have discovered that chocolate candies can cut stress hormone levels into half; even the aroma of chocolates can instantly put you at ease. The different chemical in chocolate candy helps to stimulate proper blood flow which lowers your blood pressure and reduces risk of heart disease.

However, there are many disadvantages from chocolate candy. Weight gain, a disadvantage of eating more sweets and candy is that you can gain weight from the extra calories . Sweets and candy are high-glycemic foods, which means they can quickly increase your blood-sugar levels. It also can make your teeth cavities, if you do not brush your teeth regularly. Often chew gum for adolescents can be risky to have a rectangular face shape.

There are many advantages and disadvantages of candy. Therefore, you as parents, do not rush to prohibit your child eat candy if the reason you're afraid of damaging their teeth. However, you still need to pay attention to your child not to eat too much candy and chocolate.

Cindelaras

     Raden Putra was the king of Jenggala kingdom. He had a beautiful queen and concubine. Unlike the queen, the concubine had bad personalities. She was envious and jealous with the queen, so she planned to make the queen leave the palace. The concubine then asked the royal healer to help her in her plan. One day, the concubine pretended to be ill. Raden Putra called the royal healer to give the concubine treatments. “What is the disease?” Raden Putra asked to the royal healer. “I’m very sorry, my majesty. She is sick because the queen put poison in her meal,” the Royal healer lied.

     Raden Putra was shock and angry to hear the explanation. He called the queen and asked her if the story was true. Of course the queen denied, but Raden Putra won’t listen. “Please Your Majesty, have mercy. I really did’n do anything,” cried the queen in her tears. Raden Putra’s anger ended in a decision. The queen should be banished to the woods and terminated. He did not know that the queen was already pregnant. Raden Putra commanded one of his general to do the punishment. The queen was banished to the woods, but the wise general didn’t have the heart to kill her. He built a simple house in the woods for her. On this way to the palace, he smeared his sword with rabbit blood, so Raden Putra would believed that he had killed the queen.

     After the general left, the queen lived by herself in the woods. Several months later, she gave birth to a healty baby boy. The baby was named Cindelaras. He grew up as a nice, healthy, and handsome boy. One day, when Cindelaras helped her mother to collect some fire woods, an eagle dropped an egg. Cindelaras brought the egg to b brooded by a chicken behind their house. The egg hatced into chick and then it slowly became a strong rooster. The rooster is no ordinary rooster. The rooster could sing. Every morning, the rooster woke Cindelaras up with its beautifull song, “My master is Cindelaras. His house is in the woods. He’s the son of Raden Putra.” The rooster often sang that song.

       Cindelaras always woke up early in the morning and listen happily to is rooster’s song. He didn’t realize the meaning of the song until one day, he started to think. “Who is Raden Putra?” he asked his mother. The queen then told him the whole story. She also told him why they were banned from the kingdom and lived in the woods. Cindelaras was very surprised. He decided to go to the palace to meet the king, his father. Cindelaras asked her mother’s permission to go to the kingdom and to tell the king what really happened. He also brought his rooster that grew bigger and stronger each day.

      On his way, Cindelaras stopped at a village. There, he met some people who were involved in cockfighting. They challenge him to see how strong his rooster was. “if your rooster wins, you’ll get a reward,” said the man who challenged him. Cindelaras accepted the challenge. In a few minutes, his rooster defeated the opponent’s rooster. He was challenged again by other man, and more time, his rooster won. He won again and again.

      The news about cindelaras’ rooster quickly spread to the whole Jenggala kingdom and made Raden Putra curious. So, he invited Cindelaras to the palace. “What is your name, boy?” Raden Putra asked as Cindelaras arrived in the palace. “My name is Cindelaras, Your Majesty,” Cindelaras answered. He felt both thrilled and happy to see Raden putra.

      Raden putra challenged Cindelaras with one condition. If Raden Putra’s rooster won, cindelaras’ head would be cut off. But if Cindelaras’ rooster won, Raden Putra would share half of his wealth. Cindelaras accepted the condition. The competition was held in the front yard of the palace. The two roosters fought bravely. But in just a few minutes, Cindelaras’ rooster won the fight! Raden Putra shook his head and stared at Cindelaras from his seat, “That rooster is not ordinary rooster, and the boy is not ordinary boy either. Who is he exactly?” he thought. Raden Putra was about to asked when suddenly Cindelaras’ rooster sang the song, “My master is cindelaras. His house is in the woods. He’s the son of raden Putra.”

      Raden Putra was surprised. “Is it true?” he asked. “Yes, Majesty. My name is Cindelaras and my mother was the queen,” said Cindelaras. Raden Putra called the general who had banished the queen. The general then confessed that he never killed the queen. Later, the royal healer also admitted his mistake. Raden Putra was so shocked. He immediately went to the woods to pick up the queen. Ever since, Cindelaras and his parents lived happily together. As for the concubine, she was sent to the jail as punishment.

Laki-laki tua berpeluang menghasilkan anak cacat..... Benarkah???

              Pada umumnya, ibu sering menjadi tertuduh pada saat ia melahirkan bayi penyandang cacat atau pengidap penyakit keturunan. Sebaliknya, si bapak praktis terhindar dari gu jingan dan selalu dianggap subur yang mampu menjadi bapak dari anak anak sehat, bahkan sampai usia senja. Akhir akhir ini banyak bukti yang menunjukkan bahwa laki laki merupakan sumber dari sebagian besar mutasi genetika baru, bukan perempuan. Oleh karena itu, muncul hipotesis bahwa laki laki bertanggung jawab atas mayoritas penyakit bawaan yang secara sepintas tidak jelas asal usulnya. Hal tersebut terjadi karena semakin tua usia laki laki, maka semakin tinggi peluang mutasi genetic spermanya.

                Kekeliruan bawaan sel sperma belum banyak mendapat perhatian dari para ahli. “ini merupakan subjek yang selama ini tidak begitu mendapat perhatian,”kata Dr. James Crow, ahli genetika Universitas Wisconsin, Madison, Amerika Serikat.

Sekitar setengah abad silam, (1950-an), J.B.S. Haldane (ahli genetika asal Skotlandia) menduga bahwa kasus hemophilia yang baru muncul di tengah keluarga yang sebelumnya tidak mencatat sejarah penyakit demikian, agaknya merupakan hasil penyimpangan genetika yang bersumber dari sel sperma, bukan sel telur. Dasar pemikirannya adalah sel telur telah terbentuk penuh selama pengembangan janin dan tidak lagi mengalami pembagian sel lanjut setelah lahir, sedangkan sel kelamin moyang akan mencikal bakali sperma laki laki akan terus berbagi sepanjang hidup seseorang. Semakin banyak pembagian sel tersebut, semakin besar peluang muutasi titik bisa terjadi saat kromosom berduplikasi.

Baru-baru ini, para ilmuwan berhasil memperihatkan bahwa gen-gen pada kromosom Y yang hanya dimonopoli laki-laki ternyata memiliki laju lebih cepat dibandingkan gen-gen pada kromoson X. para ilmuwan menaksir bahwa laju mutasi genetika dalam sel-sel sperma enam kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan dalam sel telur. Kesenjangan laju mutasi makin melebar seiring dengan pertambahan usia. Makin uzur laki-laki, makin sering sel-sel moyang sperma mengalami pembelahan dan makin tinggi kemungkinan mutasi titik yang kemungkinan tertumpuk dalam kromosom. Misalnya, pada usia 13 tahun saat bocah laki-laki biasanya mulai memproduksi sperma, sel-sel kelaminnya telah berbagi sekitar 36 kali dan 23 kali setahun sesudahnya. Pada usia 20 tahun, sel sperma mengalami replikasi 200 kali, usia 30 tahun lebih kurang 430 kali, dan usia 45 tahun kira-kira 770 kali.

Bukti statistic menunjukkan bahwa laki-laki yang menjadi bapak pada usia lebih tua makin berpeluang menghasilkan anak penyandang cacat lahir, dibandingkan laki-laki lebih belia. Misalnya, bapak lebih tua menghadapi peningkatan resiko memiliki anak penyandang dwarfisme endroplastik, sindrom marsfan, atau miositis osifikan.

Bagaimana dengan kaum ibu? Menjadi ibu pada usia lebih tua masih berisiko melahirkan bayi cacat lahir. Bedanya, bukan dikaitkan dengan mutasi titik, tetapi kesalahan replikasi seluruh kroosom contohnya, sindrom down. Crow menambahkan, cacat kromosomal skala besar mudah dideteksi dalam tes perkelahiran sehingga masih mungkin untuk diantisipasi. Sebaliknya, sebagian besar mutasi titik sampai sekarang sulit didiagnosis secara dini sehingga baru diketahui saat bayi dilahiran. “saya kira kita dapat mengeliminasi mutasi pada manusia jika kaum laki-laki bereproduksi pada usia muda atau ingin memiliki anak belakangan, simpan saja spermanya yang massih muda dalam nitrogen,” sarannya.

Yui Yoshioka lahir di Fukuoka, Prefektur Fukuoka, 26 Maret 1987. Adalah penyanyi wanita dan pencipta lagu asal Jepang. YUI tampil bernyanyi sambil memainkan gitar, dan dua dari lagunya, "LIFE" dan "Rolling star" menjadi lagu pembuka dan penutup seri ke-5 serial anime Bleach. Album pertamanya, FROM ME TO YOU dirilis 22 Februari 2006, terdiri dari 13 lagu dan 9 lagu di antaranya belum pernah dirilis sebelumnya.

Karir:

YUI memulai menulis lirik lagunya sendiri sewaktu di kelas 3 SMP. YUI sangat bercita-cita menjadi penyanyi, dan pergi ke mana-mana dengan selalu membawa gitarnya. Sewaktu SMA, ia sering menyaksikan pertunjukan grup musik bianco nero di jalanan, dan memutuskan untuk berhenti sekolah. YUI mulai belajar menyanyi, menulis lagu, dan memainkan gitar di kursus musik kota Fukuoka.

Sambil bersila di atas kasur, YUI memainkan gitarnya dan menulis lagu pertama yang diberi judul "Why me". Setelah itu, ia mulai menyanyi di pinggir jalan di kawasan Tenjin, Fukuoka sebagai atraksi pembuka bagi teman satu tempat kursus musik.

Bulan Maret 2004, YUI mengikuti audisi "SD Audition" yang diadakan Sony Music Japan. Dari 20 ribu peserta hanya 10 orang yang tersisa termasuk YUI. Duduk menyilangkan kaki di lantai, YUI bernyanyi sambil memetik gitar. Lagu yang dibawakannya waktu itu sebanyak 3 buah lagu, "Why me", "It's happy line", dan "I know". Finalis hanya boleh membawakan 2 buah lagu menurut peraturan audisi, tapi juri memberikan nilai yang sangat tinggi bagi YUI. Setelah itu, berbagai perusahaan rekaman menjadi saling berebut untuk mengontraknya. Lagu pertama yang dinyanyikan, "Why me" nantinya dijadikan single perdana, diikuti dengan "It's happy line" dan "I know". Keduanya diterbitkan sebagai singel indie debutnya, "It's happy line" dengan lagu "I know" di sisi B.

Sebagai penghargaan kepada kampung halamannya, YUI menulis lagu "feel my soul" ketika meninggalkan kampung halamannya, Fukuoka. Seorang produser dari stasiun televisi Fuji TV mendengar video klip demo lagu tersebut, dan bermaksud menjadikannya sebagai lagu tema serial drama di Fuji TV. Debut singel YUI, "feel my soul" yang dirilis 23 Februari 2006 dijadikan lagu tema serial drama Fukigen na Gene. Serial drama tersebut dihiasi lagu-lagu YUI, seperti "feel my soul" dan "It's happy line". Singel "feel my soul" laku di atas 100 ribu keping, namun 3 singel berikutnya, "Tomorrow's way", "LIFE", dan "TOKYO" ternyata tidak sesukses "feel my soul". Setelah merilis 4 buah singel, album pertama YUI yang berjudul FROM ME TO YOU dirilis bulan Februari 2006 dan laku di atas 200 ribu keping.

Sementara itu, YUI memulai karier akting dengan membintangi film berjudul Midnight Sun (Taiyou no Uta). Film tersebut diputar di Festival Film Cannes 2006 dan dirilis di Jepang pada 17 Juni 2006. Singel ke-5, "Good-bye days" khusus ditulisnya untuk film Midnight Sun. Kepopuleran singel YUI yang sebelumnya kembali terangkat setelah singel ke-6, "I remember you" diedarkan.

"Rolling star" adalah singel ke-7 YUI yang dijadikan lagu pembuka seri ke-5 anime Bleach. Singel ke-3, "LIFE" juga dipakai sebagai lagu penutup seri ke-5 anime yang sama. Selain itu, iklan televisi ponsel KDDI layanan "au Listen Mobile Service" memakai singel ke-8 Yui, "C.H.E.R.R.Y" sebagai lagu tema.

Sementara itu, album kedua, CAN'T BUY MY LOVE menduduki puncak tangga album Oricon selama 2 minggu berturut-turut, dan laku lebih dari 500.000 keping.

Singel ke-9 berjudul "My Generation/Understand" dirilis 13 Juni 2007, sekaligus merupakan singel pertama YUI yang berbentuk double A-side (dua lagu unggulan di sisi A). My Generation menjadi lagu tema untuk serial drama Seito Shokun!, dan "Understand" menjadi lagu tema film Sidecar ni Inu.

Singel ke-10, "LOVE & TRUTH", dirilis 26 September 2007, merupakan lagu tema dari film yang dibintangi oleh Erika Sawajiri, yang berjudul Closed Note.

Singel ke-11 YUI berjudul "Namidairo" bernada gelap dan sedih. Sementara single ke 12 nya "SUMMER SONG" dirilis 2 Juli 2008 berhasil mencapai penjualan tertinggi di minggu pertama Oricon Chart.

Album kompilasi B-side pertamanya, MY SHORT STORIES dirilis akhir tahun dengan Hit Single berjudul "I'll be". Lagu ini menjadi jingle iklan Sony Walkman di Jepang. Setelah peluncuran single ini, YUI memutuskan untuk istirahat beberapa bulan agar lebih fokus pada proyek tahun depan.

Pada 3 Juni 2009, Single terbaru YUI berjudul "again" diluncurkan. Lagu ini menjadi opening anime "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood". "again" berhasil meraup penjualan sebanyak 110.000 copies di minggu pertama. Single ini akhirnya menjadi peringkat satu dalam penjualan minggu pertama paling tinggi pada 2009.

Single terbarunya, "GLORIA" dirilis awal tahun 2010 dengan nuansa musim dingin. Single ini kembali merajai Oricon Weekly Sales. Dengan ini, YUI berhasil memegang predikat empat single konsekutif (empat single terakhirnya menduduki puncak oricon berturut-turut).
